I started seeing Dr. Grayman in March for my hair and alopecia. In the last several months my skin has cleared and my hair is filling in. I'm very happy with the care I've received and her staff is great never once have I felt rushed. She is a direct communicator which I love. I specially sought out an African America dermatologist and she is more than worth the wait. I have had to wait in office once or twice but I wait anytime I go to the Dr. It happens. Patience and kindness goes a long way.

I saw 3 Dermatologist before Dr. Grayman. She was the only Doctor to properly diagnose my condition and resolve it. I have not had an outbreak in more than 3 years!! Very professional and informative šŸ‘ šŸ‘Œ

I travel all the way from London UK to see Dr Grayman. She’s literally the only dermatologist I have found in the last 10 years that truly understands skin of colour. I suffer from acne prone skin, every now and again I break out in the worst legions. I have seen various Harley street London Dr’s but frankly with little results. When things get very desperate, I reach out to Dr Greyman in Orlando to fix me! My skin seems to love her ā€˜Pure Skin’ range of products too. Thankfully, now I’m in town I have had my first chemical peel which has improved my texture. All that’s left is to tackle the hyperpigmentation. Looking forward to flawless skin by the end of my holiday.

I absolutely love Dr. Grayman and her staff. They are friendly and knowledgeable. My skin thanks her. My skin looks amazing since I’ve been going to Dr. Grayman. I would definitely recommend her for your skin needs.

Dr Grayman genuinely cares for her patients. She takes the time to listen and is very knowledgeable. I’ve been to 2 dermatologist about a scalp condition but she was the first doctor to demonstrate sensitivity, understanding, patience, and provided a treatment plan that actually gives me some hope. Thank you again Dr Grayman.

What kind of anesthetic do you use for skin surgery?

We typically use local anesthesia for in-office skin surgeries. This numbs the treatment area so you stay comfortable and pain-free throughout the procedure, while still being awake and able to go home shortly afterward. For more complex cases, we'll discuss additional options to ensure your comfort and safety.

How long does a typical surgery take?

Most surgical dermatology procedures are relatively quick and can be completed in under an hour. The exact timing depends on the size, type, and location of the growth being removed. Our team will walk you through what to expect before your procedure, so there are no surprises.

Will I have any scars after surgical dermatology?

Some scarring is possible any time the skin is cut, but we use advanced techniques to keep scarring as minimal and discreet as possible. Your healing process, skin type, and how you care for the area afterward also play a role. We'll provide clear aftercare instructions to help your skin heal smoothly.

Dermatologic surgery can protect your skin's health and your overall well-being if you're dealing with signs of skin cancer. Protect your complexion by scheduling your next skin cancer screening at Pure Skin Dermatology & Aesthetics. Our experienced team will identify any areas of concern and help plan a way forward.
